ACTUALLY, this whole thing is supposed to be Yarluck recalling his past.

He makes the transition back into present by finishing his own statement from back then.

It makes perfect sense to me, ya' nubs. :P

Because his wounds magically healed, he got older, the vat of Godanium, the spoon, and his Godanium-coated right arm just all magically appeared when he touched the metal...


...right...?

Yeah, I'll stop being cynical now. :P
